Two Prince George Spruce Kings have been called upon to represent Canada at the World Junior ‘A’ Challenge.
Forwards Ethan de Jong and Kyle Johnson will play for Team Canada West, along with 13 other BCHL players, at the tournament in Truro, Nova Scotia.
For de Jong, this is the first in two selection camps to have made the roster.
The Kings’ will open the challenge Sunday against the Czech Republic and will take on the United States the following Tuesday.
