Local snowboarder takes silver in team event

Prince George native Meryeta O’Dine and her partner, Zoe Bergermann (Erin, Ontario), captured their first medal of the season Sunday.

The pair earned silver in the women’s team Snowboardcross World Cup from Montafon, Austria.

O’Dine and the rest of the Canadian representatives head to Cervinia, Italy, for one last individual event before taking a break for the holidays.
