CARIBOO COUGARS:
The Cariboo Cougars play Carolina on Tuesday (11:45AM PT) in their opening game at the 40th annual Mac’s international hockey tournament in Calgary.
Cariboo will also face Swift Current Wednesday (4:15PM PT), Knights of Columbus of Edmonton Thursday (8AM PT) and the Calgary Buffaloes Friday (&PM PT).
The 19-4-1 Cougars are second in the BCMML, two points behind the 20-3-1 Valley West Hawks.
PRINCE GEORGE COUGARS:
The 12-17-3-2 Prince George Cougars visit the Victoria Royals on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Cougars are five points behind Seattle for the final wild-card playoff spot.

The 19-11-2-4 Prince George Spruce Kings host the Langley Rivermen on Friday and Saturday.
Langley is first in the Mainland Division, just a point ahead of Prince George but the Spruce Kings have a game in hand.

Snowboard Cross:
Meryeta O’Dine of Prince George placed 10th out of 37 in the women’s World Cup Snowboard Cross race Friday in Cervinia, Italy.
The 20-year-old O’Dine is 7th overall in the World Cup standings and the top Canadian.
She is expected to land a spot on Canada’s team for the Pyongchang, South Korea Olympics in February.
