Vees edge Spruce Kings seconds into OT Friday night

The Spruce Kings began its 2018 campaign on the road in the Okanagan Friday night on a three-game, three-day road trip.

In Penticton, however, the reigning BCHL champions would prevail seven seconds into the second overtime period to defeat Prince George 2-1.

Ben Brar was the goal-scorer for the red, white, and blue minutes after the Vees took a 1-0 in the middle of the third period; the assist from Liam Watson-Brawn and Ethan de Jong.

The ‘Kings record goes down to 20-12-3-4, earning a point in the process and putting them one taly back of the first-place Langley Rivermen in the Mainland Division.

Prince George continues the Interior swing tomorrow, 6PM in Vernon against the Vipers.
