Two New Players Added To Cougars Blue-Line

The Prince George Cougars have two new players on their team.

The Cougars acquired defencemen Rhett Rhinehart and Austin Crossley and a first-round pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft from the Prince Albert Raiders.

This was in exchange for the Cougars forward Kody McDonald and a conditional fourth-round pick in 2018.

Rhinehart was a 13th overall pick in 2016 and in 31 games had an assist and 16 penalty minutes.

Crossley, A Fort St. John native, was signed back in November 2016 to the Raiders and was able to pick up a goal and assist in 30 games while with them.

McDonald has spent his entire four-year WHL career in Prince George playing in 232 career regular season games, scoring 60 goals and racking up 126 points, to go along with 369 penalty-minutes.

The Cougars Play against the Tri-City Americans again tonight at the CN Centre.
