Spruce Kings salvage single point in loss to Salmon Arm

Prince George finished its three-game, three-day road trip with no regulation losses, earning four of a possible six points in the process.

On Sunday afternoon, the Spruce Kings fell to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks by a score of 3-2 in overtime with their record now standing at 21-12-4-4.

Blue-liners Dylan Anhorn and Layton Ahac potted the goals for PG; their fifth and sixth tallies respectively.

Bradley Cooper stopped 31 of 33 shots in his 11th start of the 2017-18 season.

With the Langley defeating Chilliwack 5-2 today, the Spruce Kings and Rivermen are now tied at the top of the Mainland Division with 50 points each although PG has a game in hand.

Prince George returns home for a four-game homestand at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena (RMCA) starting Friday, 7PM against the Cowichan Valley Capitals.
