Environment Canada has declared a snowfall warning, now in effect for sections of Highway 97 in Northern BC.
“Looks like we’ll be seeing up to another 15 to 20 centimetres before the snow ends overnight. So that’s a possibility of 30 to 35 centimeters by the time things finally start to ease off,” says Meteorologist Trevor Smith.
Until then, drivers are being asked to prepare for changing road and weather conditions as visibility may be reduced in some areas.
