PG Chamber has a new CEO

The Prince George Chamber of Commerce (PGCC) has named its new leader.

Todd Corrigall has been appointed as the new CEO, after serving with the City of Lloydminster in Alberta.

He says he’s excited to return to his Northern BC roots.

“I have a pretty good background in policy development, strategic planning, communications, and marketing initiatives. I think that’s certainly a great skills for this position, and I think also having an understanding of the community and the knowledge of some of the local businesses helped as well.”

Corrigall is a former communications manager with the City of Prince George.

A key area he hopes to focus on for the future is working closely with non-profit organizations.

“They’re really a driving force between community growth and and how we help shape and outreach to the community. So working with a number of those not-for-profit organizations on how we can help bring the opportunity for them is a fantastic opportunity for the PGCC to get involved with.”

He also emphasizes working with all forms of businesses as well, which he hopes to establish strong connections with during the transition process.

Corrigall replaces Erika Ewacha, who stepped down after five months in November.
