Spruce Kings lottery tickets stolen, being investigated by RCMP

The Prince George Spruce Kings are pleading to the public in finding several Show Home Lottery tickets.

Lottery Manager Cathy Turgeon says two ticket books were stolen containing 100 tickets.

“The RCMP are looking into the theft and their investigation is ongoing. The challenges we’re facing now is to contact the people who purchased those tickets and have them come forward so we can issue a refund.”

According to the team’s Facebook post, the tickets were sold at the Pine Centre Mall and Canadian Tire.

Turgeon hopes the police will be able to find the missing tickets, numbered #4000 to #4100, but they have been void as a result of the theft.

“The RCMP are just looking into it right now and unfortunately, they don’t have a lot to go off of for now. We just want to concentrate on moving forward and getting refunds for the people that purchased these tickets.”
