Man in hospital as RCMP investigate VLA targeted attack

A man is being treated for non-life threatening injuries after being attacked early this morning.

According to Prince George RCMP, the 34-year-old victim went to local hospital with injuries from what has been determined to be a large-edged weapon.

Mounties say he was also uncooperative when attempting to talk with him after receiving the report shortly after 8AM.

Investigators say two suspects wearing masked forced into the victim’s home in the 1700 block of Redwood Street with the weapon in question before fleeing the scene, believing this was a targeted attack.

However, the public is not at risk as a result of this incident.

Anyone with more information is asked to call the Prince George RCMP at (250) 561-3300, or Crime-Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
