Tabor Mountain Ski Resort destroyed by a midnight blaze

Fire crews are investigating a structure blaze at Tabor Mountain Ski Resort.

Hours after the lodge was engulfed in flames, Prince George RCMP determine the incident is a total loss.

“It’s a local business that has been around for about 30 to 40 years and there’s certainly going to be an impact. Once the owners have a chance to assess things, we hope there is an opportunity to re-open.”

Regional District of Fraser-Fort George (RDFFG) spokesperson Renee McCloskey

No one was believed to have been inside during the fire and the cause is yet to be determined.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Prince George RCMP at (250) 561-3300, or Crime-Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
