Pair of Northern BC athletes win 31st Iceman competition

Chris Pendray and Kajsa Heyes are the 31st annual Iceman and Icewoman.

Prince George’s Heyes topped the women’s group with a time of 2:12:57.

“I did it last year with a partner and we won the mixed doubles but it was nice to do all of the events this year, although it’s a lot harder.”

As for Pendray, who’s from Smithers, he redeemed himself after losing by four seconds last year, winning the men’s group with a time of 1:53:55.
