Snow is falling once again in Prince George

The snow has returned to Prince George!

Environment Canada is calling for five centimetres of snowfall with winds reaching 20 kilometres per hour.

However, unlike Vanderhoof, the City is not under any air quality advisories.

“It’s been very cold so you see an inversion setting up and ventilate into the upper atmosphere where everything gets trapped in so we good conditions for that but we’re also getting some snow so that may help things a bit.”

– Meteorologist Chris Emond

Predicted daily temperatures should fall to minus-17 in the evenings leading up to the weekend.
