Weismiller joins the Timberwolves Den

The UNBC Timberwolves have added another Vancouver Island recruit to it’s men’s soccer team for the 2018 season.

Theo Weismiller graduated from Reynolds Secondary in Victoria in 2016 and then spent a year at the University of Victoria (UVic).

He played as a youth player in the Wave program under Timberwolves Head Coach Steve Simonson.

The six-foot-two Weismiller was a teammate of current TWolves Jonah Smith, Cody Gysbers, Aidan Way, and Joel Watson.

“I’m really stoked. The facilities are sick, the team is awesome. All the guys seem great so far, my roommates who I’ve known since high school are awesome, and obviously, Steve is a great coach. I am really excited to be here.”

Able to play as an attacking midfielder or as a wing, Weismiller hopes to make an immediate impact with a Timberwolves team that saw seven regulars graduate from the program.

He will pursue a joint major in political science and international studies.
