City Council Preview: March 5th, 2018

The March 5th, 2018 Prince George regular council meeting has two delegations on the agenda.

The first is an annual report from Volunteer Prince George, while the second is in regards to the Prince George BMX Supertrak. The latter is a presentation on construction plans and funding already raised and will request funding from the city to assist in the completion of the rebuild project.

The only subject in the formal public hearing pertains to the closure of 1280 – 6th Avenue, which was previously submitted on February 5th, 2018, following the sale of three portions of 6th Ave, including this one.

In the reports, council has been recommended to give the first three readings to the Comprehensive Fees and Charges Bylaw to reinstate a $70 fee for the installation or alteration to City Services, including water, sewer, and storm sewer, that was inadvertently removed.

Also in the reports is a recommendation that council remove the scheduled May 14th, 2018 council meeting due to the addition of one on May 2nd, 2018.
