WATCH:
Prince George city crews are getting ready for lots of snow melting in the weeks ahead.
40 workers are set to tackle 5,500 storm drains to prevent traffic issues and localized flooding.
“We ask that homeowners don’t use sprinkler systems or hoses to get rid of the snow, or melt it. It can cause ice hazards and other hazards as well.”

The City also wants people to report large puddles or flooding concerns so workers can prioritize and plan around areas effected the most.
