The Prince George Spruce Kings sure didn’t play like a team that wanted to close a playoff series.
Instead, the Mainland Division Champions laid an egg on the road on Saturday by falling 6-1 to the Chilliwack Chiefs.
The hosts were led by a two-goal performance from 18-year-old forward Ryan Miotto who was re-inserted into the lineup after being scratched in game 5.
Kaden Pickiering, Ryan Bowen, Bryan Allbee and PJ Marrocco also took turns lighting the lamp.
Evan DeBrouwer made 25 saves on 29 shots in goal for the Spruce Kings.
Dustin Manz potted the lone goal for Prince George in defeat.
Chilliwack outshot the Spruce Kings 31-17 after 60 minutes.
The best-of-seven series is tied at 3-3 with game seven slated for Sunday at 7 PM from the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.
The winner of this hard-fought series will play the Surrey Eagles.
Does it get any better?
