Time change for the Cariboo Cougars

Cariboo Cougars blank Canadians in Games 2 & 3 for series comeback, and the 2017 BCMML Championship title | Brendan Pawliw, My PG Now

The defending-champion Cariboo Cougars will host the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds this weekend in the BC Major Midget League best-of-three Final at Kin 1.

Games are slated for Friday and Saturday night at 7:15, plus Sunday morning at 10:15 if necessary.

The times of the first two games were pushed back from the original schedule because of the Prince George Aboriginal Youth Hockey Championships that are also being held in the city on the long weekend.

It is the fourth straight year the Cougars have reached the championship series.

Cariboo qualified after 5-2 and 4-3 (OT) wins over the Vancouver NE Chiefs.

Fraser Valley advanced after knocking off the Vancouver NW Giants in the third and deciding game of that semi-final series.

The Cats took the season series with the Thunderbirds three games to one.

SCHEDULE:

GAME 1 = Friday, March 30th at 7:15PM
GAME 2 = Saturday, March 31st at 7:15PM
*GAME 3 = Sunday, April 1st at 10:15AM

*IF NEEDED
