UPDATE – 12:15AM:
BC Hydro says power has been restored to nearly 2,200 customers East of Prince George.
The outage occurred around 11:30AM today, and was quickly restored in under an hour.
There’s still no word yet on the cause of the incident.

A power outage has occurred in the area East of Prince George, including YXS Airport.
According to BC Hydro, nearly 2,200 customers have been left in the dark by an unknown cause, ranging from North of Alpine Drive to Northwood Pulpmill Road.
