PG Crimestoppers give residents chance to avoid identity theft

The Prince George Crime Stoppers Society is hosting another “document shredding” event this weekend.

The public will have a chance to have their personal or important documents shredded in an effort to eliminate the possibility of identity theft.

A donation must be made of at least five dollars to receive the service with all proceeds going back into PG Crimestoppers. They note this is not meant for business owners.

Mr. Mikes will also be providing burgers by donation from 11am – 2pm.

The event is Saturday, April 21st, in the CN Centre parking lot from 10am to 2pm.
