NHL: (Second game in the Western Conference Final)

Marc-Andre Fleury made 30 saves for the Golden Knights who tied the Western Conference Final, 1-1.

Game Three will be played Wednesday night at 6 in Vegas.


The Washington Capitals are home and up 2-0 in the Eastern Final over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The series will continue tonight at 5.

Third line forward Brett Connolly of Prince George has a goal and an assist in the series where Washington won 4-2 and 6-2 on the road.


Goalie Stuart Skinner, who led the Swift Current Broncos to the WHL title, has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Edmonton Oilers.

The Oilers selected Skinner in the third-round, 78th overall in the 2017 NHL Draft.



The four-team field is set for the Memorial Cup with the tournament to begin Friday

Connor McDavid scored in overtime for Canada, who will play its final round robin game today (7:15 a.m. PT) against Germany.

The Canadian team has three wins, an overtime victory, a loss and an overtime loss to sit third out of eight in Group B.

Quarter-finals will be played Thursday, semis on Saturday and medal games on Sunday.

The Prince George Kodiaks will have a total of 13 teams, from 14 to 18 years of age, at the volleyball club nationals in Edmonton starting Thursday and running until Tuesday, May 22nd. 

There are 864 teams, spread over 24 divisions, that will play on over 50 courts at the new Northlands Expo Centre.


The Prince George and Hart Judo Clubs will be represented by 17 athletes at the national judo championships in (Thursday to Sunday) in Calgary.


The Prince George Knights will compete at the Interior Cup, Western Canada’s largest adult ball hockey tournament, (Friday to Sunday) in Penticton.

Game two will be played Wednesday night at 6 in Houston.


The NBA Eastern Final resumes this evening at 5:30 in Boston. The Celtics lead the Cleveland Cavaliers 1-0.



The Toronto Blue Jays have a two-game mini series against the 19-18 Mets starting tonight in New York.

The 21-20 Jays are one-quarter of the way into their season.
