WATCH: UNBC’s 25th convocation sees hundreds of local, international graduates

WATCH:

UNBC celebrated the 2018 graduating class during its historic 25th convocation ceremony.

Hundreds of local and international students received their degrees, with some going through several challenges in finishing the life event.

“When I got my undergrad in the 90s, I always wanted to come back. It took me a while to decide that I was going to put my family through the challenges of me going to school and my kids having to deal with me not being there. Having gone through a cancer experience also inspired me to not wait.”

– Master’s Degree recipient Devin Flesher

The event was celebrated with photo-ops, live music, and food in the school’s Agora Courtyard.
