Prince George Conservation Officers are looking for information in connection with a grizzly bear found dead with its paws removed. The bear was about five years old.
It was found Wednesday night about nine kilometres north of Bear Lake in a ditch off Highway 97.
Conservation Officer Eamon McArthur says they are leaning towards wildlife trafficking as the cause.
Anyone with information is being asked to call the RAPP line.
