Spicy Greens restaurant in the Hart involved in early morning fire

A local restaurant in Prince George fell victim to a structure fire early Tuesday morning.

Nineteen firefighters responded to the blaze just after 1 AM at the Spicy Greens Restaurant on the 6500 block of the Hart Highway.

When crews arrived, they found smoke coming from the back and the roof of the building.

Once inside, the kitchen was already in flames with heavy damage sustained.

The fire has been extinguished and no one was inside at the time of the blaze.

Emergency personnel will be at the scene this morning to determine the cause and no injuries were reported.
