WATCH: CNC students gather to remember Sandeep Kaur

WATCH:

A candlelight vigil was held for international student Sandeep Kaur who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Highway 97 Wednesday evening.

The woman had only been in Prince George for a few months and traveled from India to attend the College of New Caledonia (CNC).

“We’re offering extensive counselling support for students and staff and the college community has set up a memorial for the student. Right now, it’s been a very traumatic event for not only the students who witnessed it and the classmates, but also our staff as well.”

– CNC President Henry Reiser

Reiser plans to travel to India to meet with Sandeep’s parents to give his condolences in person.
