Fire training this week at YXS

Residents may see dark smoke in or around the Prince George airport over the next couple days but are being asked to not be alarmed.

Controlled fire training is taking place in the area as part of ongoing recurrent fire training and certification.

Training is scheduled from 10am – 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday.

This training was originally scheduled for last week but was cancelled due to an air advisory. If an air advisory takes effect, training will once again be rescheduled.
