WATCH: Connolly, Cougars anticipating Stanley Cup’s arrival in PG on August 20th

WATCH:

Brett Connolly is bringing the Stanley Cup to his hometown Prince George on August 20th.

The 26-year-old Washington Capitals forward is coordinating a day of festivities at the CN Centre with the PG Cougars.

“We’re going to do the traditional rally on stage, but what’s really exciting is that they will be able to come shake Brett’s hand, get some photos taken, and he wants as many people up close with the Stanley Cup as possible.”

– Cougars VP of Business Andy Beesley

Connolly also wants to do some fundraising for the Brock Hirschie Foundation after the former Cougar passed away in April.

More celebration details are coming soon!
