WATCH: All hail, Prince George!

WATCH:

A second summer storm in two weeks pelted Prince George on Wednesday, sending dime-sized hail across the City.

Environment Canada recorded ‘intense’ storms, bringing more thunder and rain for roughly 30 minutes.

“We’re forecasting the possibility of thunderstorms and there’s a risk of hail again. So, it’s kind of a cooling-off trend here for the next three days and then warming up for next week and the chance of thunderstorms and hail to be decreased as we start to warm up.”

– Meteorologist Doug Lundquist

Cooler temperatures are expected to end the work week with a 70% chance of showers for Saturday.

If the situation worsens, Environment Canada confirms they’ll issue a severe thunderstorm warning for Prince George.
