‘Drive for Five’ complete by Prince George high-jumper

Alyx Treasure has won her fifth straight national title!

The 26-year-old Prince George high-jumper cleared the bar at 1.85 metres at the Canadian Track and Field Championships in Ottawa this past weekend.

Her personal-best is 1.94 metres, which was set at the 2016 Rio Olympics when she finished in 17th place.

Treasure heads to Europe this week to compete at meets in Ireland, England, and Norway.

The DP Todd Secondary graduate will be back in Canada for the North American, Central American, and Caribbean Championships (NACAC) August 10th to 12th in Toronto (31 countries to be represented).
