WATCH:

The Ts’oo Yoh apartment complex has officially opened in Prince George.

It features wide doorways, low countertops, and wheel-in showers for improved accessibility.

“It’s incredibly important so that people who do need assistance or are in a wheelchair, for example, are able to have those kinds of features to make living comfortable”

– Christos Vardacostas, Aboriginal Housing Society of PG

The apartments are designed for low- to moderate-income Elders and seniors.
