Public inquest for Jamie Wilford Shanoss set for September in PG

A public inquest is taking place this fall in Prince George looking into the death of a 51-year-old man.

It is being scheduled by the BC Coroners Service as they look into the death of Jamie Wilford Shanoss after he died in police in custody in November of 2016.

The inquest is being called to review the circumstances surrounding his death and will hear evidence from witnesses.

It will begin on September 17th at the law courts located at 250 George Street.
