Fire training taking place at the airport

The Airport Authority is telling residents not to be alarmed if they see dark smoke in and around YXS.

Fire training is taking place until 3:30pm today where crews will be training in a self-contained facility under controlled circumstances for certification.

The fires pose no threat to the public.

Training will also take place tomorrow from 7am until 9am.
