Prince George RCMP made a quick river this afternoon.
A woman was walking her dog along the Nechako River at around 1:30 when the Rotty-Shepherd cross went into the river.
The woman tried to save the dog but was unable to.
Officers rescued the woman but the dog was unable to be retrieved.
Anyone who does see the dog is asked to call RCMP.
