After a four days, Prince George Search and Rescue crews have suspended the ground search for a missing woman.
At around noon Sunday crews stopped looking for 49 year old Anita Florence Thorne.
Search Manager Dale Bull says over the four days, they started with some hasty searches of the area.
“That were conducted, first in a helicopter and then we moved to just road vehicles, and ATVs,” says Bull, “as time progressed, we started searching trails by foot, and from there we were doing grid searches of the bush.”
Bull says the RCMP will continue its investigation into Thorne’s disappearance and anyone who has information is asked to contact RCMP.
He says over the four days there were between 125-150 people helping with the search.
