Calling all innovators and inventors

Entrepreneurs, businesses, and innovators alike are all being called upon to help inspire a new Prince George movement.

You may not be aware, but this week has been dubbed Innovation Week PG by the Innovation Central Society.

Its a week where great minds come together to showcase and foster growth and fresh new ideas.

Executive Assistant Marja Sheare says remarkable ideas and fresh new business ventures are often not kept local:

“Alot of people end up having to go to the lower mainland or to the bigger cities in order to get the information they need. What we are doing is trying to put them in touch with the people in our local area and have more of a local presence up here in the North [and] to see the Northern region succeed”

Sheare says the Innovation Central Society exists to help support and inform those inventors, and invites the public to attend the New Ventures BC Mentor panel, taking place at 7 O’Clock on Tuesday at the Copper Pig Barbecue.

Something going on in the Prince George area you think people should know about?
