Cori Ramsay will announce her intent to run for city council Thursday night. An event will be held at the Two Rivers Gallery at 5pm.
In April, the Prince George Chamber of Commerce named Ramsay a finalist for the 2018/19 Top 40 Under 40 citing her work in getting Intergris Credit Union the first living wage employer in the north. She presented at a TEDxUNBC event in 2017, speaking on a topic titled Poverty and the Power of the Living Wage.
Earlier today, Councillor Garth Frizzell also announced his intent to run for a fourth term.
General Voting Day is October 20th.
