RCMP officer’s call for assistance leads to arrest

A call for assistance was made out of concern for the safety of a Prince George RCMP member Thursday morning. The call led to the arrest of a 27-year-old man.

The PG RCMP member was at a residential complex on the 100 block of Quebec Street as part of an investigation and made the call at about 9:30am. Multiple officers immediately responded.

The man was arrested for Assaulting a Peace Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Mischief. He has been released on a Promise to Appear for court on October 3rd, 2018.

No injuries have been reported.
