City looking for grant applications

Applications are wanted for two City of Prince George grant programs. The Community Enhancement Grant and myPG Grant aims to improve the quality of life in the city.

The Community Enhancement Grant provides an opportunity to improve neighbourhoods, foster civic pride, and growing a healthy community. The grant ranges from $200 to $1,000. Past recipients include Candy Cane Lane, the College Heights Community Association Halloween event, and the 12th Avenue garden project.

Local organizations can develop and implement innovative activities, projects, and events contributing to the community through the myPG Grant. Applications will be evaluated on increasing community pride, encouraging a safe community, providing social connections for citizens, encouraging physical activity, providing opportunities for involvement in arts and culture, and ensuring equity and inclusion.

Applicants have until October 15th to apply for these two grants.
