WATCH: Excavator closes First Avenue at Carney Street Friday morning

WATCH:

An overturned excavator caused traffic delays in Prince George near the Nechako River.

Around 8AM this morning, the machine appeared to tip over after its carrier made a right turn at Carney Street onto 1st Avenue.

A tow-truck brought the excavator to an upright position, allowing clean-up to begin quickly.

PG RCMP closed the road for several hours and no injures have been reported.
