UPDATE: PG RCMP arrest 10 people in on-going drug trafficking investigation

UPDATE – 11:30AM:

An apparent raid on a Prince George home has led to multiple arrests.

PG RCMP have taken 10 people into custody this morning from a home in the 1400 block of Nation Crescent as part of an on-going and active drug trafficking investigation.

Around 9:30AM, police executed a search warrant and the Emergency Response Team was called to help, including an armoured vehicle and a sniffer dog.

Surrounding neighbours and other homes were tended to, ensuring the safety of local residents.

UPDATE – 11:05AM:

Some police cars have left the area.

We are awaiting comment from the local detachment.

 

ORIGINAL STORY:

Prince George RCMP are currently at a Nation Crescent home.

My Prince George Now is on the scene and says several vehicles including an armored car surround a home in that area.

Police have blocked off access to that street but residents can still get around on 15th avenue.

We’ll provide more information when it becomes available.
