WATCH: PG surpasses last year’s Community Christmas total for St. Vincent de Paul

WATCH:

VISTA Radio’s eighth annual Community Christmas was a resounding success for 2018.

The two-day event raised a combined $56,000 in money, gift cards, toys, food, and more for the St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVDP).

“It just touches your heart, the generosity from little kids coming in with bags of groceries and toys. Seniors also came in and you really knew they probably couldn’t afford it to give $20. As a senior myself, it just makes me feel that our world is a great place.”

– Bernie Goold, SVDP Chair

Next up is formalizing hamper applications and putting things together for the holiday season.
