Colina injury forces Cougars to call up 15-year-old prospect

Prince George Cougars forward Ilijah Colina is listed as week-to-week following an injury he suffered in Sunday’s 2-1 loss in Kamloops.

As a result, the Cats bringing in Craig Armstrong, who was the club’s top pick, ninth overall in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.

The 15-year-old product out of Airdrie, Alberta has recorded 23 points (11G, 12A) in 23 games with the Edge School Mountaineers in Calgary.

Prince George is currently on an 11-game road trip, losing seven of eight games thus far and are set to play in Kelowna this Friday.

The Cougars will host the Rockets during their next weekend home-and-home stint on January 11th and 12th.
