VIDEO IN REVIEW: Family drives daughter’s remains home along Highway of Tears

WATCH:

After obtaining the remains of her body, the family of Jessica Patrick (Balczer) travelled from Prince George west along Highway 16.

Dozens of residents gathered along the road wearing red and drumming as the vehicle carrying the deceased 18-year-old mother drove by.

Patrick was found near Smithers down a steep bank on September 15th; police confirmed her remains on September 23rd and was initially reported missing on September 3rd.

This video, posted September 20th, 2018, was viewed nearly 12,000 times.
