It wasn’t a fun Sunday for the Prince George Spruce Kings.
At the end of a grueling three-game, three day Okanagan road trip, the West Kelowna Warriors jumped all over a tired Spruce Kings squad winning 6-1.
The Warriors put up a pair of three-goal periods seeing six different players light the lamp including former Cariboo Cougar Chase Dubois.
Named the first star, Dubois finished with three points.
Prince George found themselves trailing 3-1 after one and 6-1 after two.
Connor Hopkins made 44 saves in the Warriors net for the victory as P.G outshot West Kelowna 45-24.
Keenan Rancier of the Spruce Kings gave up two early goals and was replaced by Logan Neaton.
On Saturday, the top line of Patrick Cozzi, Dustin Manz and Ben Brar scored three out of the four Spruce Kings opening period goals, claiming a 4-1 victory over the Vernon Vipers from Kal Tire Place.
Max Coyle also lit the lamp in the opening frame.
The Spruce Kings went three-for-six on the man advantage.
Prince George opened the trip with a 3-2 shootout loss at the hands of the Penticton Vees.
Cozzi and Chong Min Lee potted the goals in defeat.

Prince George trails the Chilliwack Chiefs by five points for the Mainland Division lead.
