Shooting on Alward Street believed to be a targeted attack

RCMP are investigating a shooting in Prince George.

The incident happened at approximately 11:15 PM Saturday on the 500 block of Alward Street.

Police believe people in a vehicle and residents in a nearby house exchanged shots.

No one was injured, however, RCMP report the incident was a targeted attack and not random.

One of the bullets pierced the outside wall of a neighbouring home.

By the time police arrived all of those involved had fled the scene.

The two residents of the house were later tracked down and spoken to.

A Police Dog Service Team located a firearm near the house.

The vehicle involved is believed to be a dark coloured sedan.
