The Cougars suffered their 15th consecutive loss (0-11-3-1) before 2,559 hometown fans.
They are 0-3-0-1 since general manager Mark Lamb replaced Richard Matvichuk as head coach.
Josh Maser with a pair, Vladislav Mikhalchuk and Tyson Upper tallied for the Cougars.
Victoria has won six of the seven regular season meetings against Prince George.

The 16-33-4-3 Cougars are last in the Western Conference, eight points behind the (21-28-4-1) Kamloops Blazers and 13 back of the (23-27-5-1) Seattle Thunderbirds.
The Thunderbirds hold down the final wild-card playoff spot.
Prince George is also 12 points behind the (23-28-4-1) Kelowna Rockets.
The Rockets are currently in a playoff spot by sitting third in the B.C. Division.
P.G. has 12 games left, seven of them on home ice.
The Cougars play Everett and Kamloops three times each and Spokane, Portland and Victoria twice each.
The U.S. Division leading (39-14-1-2) Everett Silvertips visit Prince George Monday at 2:00 and Tuesday at 7:00.
The Silvertips are tied with the (39-13-2-1) Vancouver Giants for the Western Conference lead but the Giants have a game in hand.

The Prince George Spruce Kings visit the first place Chilliwack Chiefs this afternoon at 2:00 and the last place Surrey Eagles Monday afternoon at 2:00.
The Spruce Kings have won nine in a row.
The Chiefs had a nine game win streak end when they lost 2-1 to Nanaimo on Saturday.
The 36-12-1-5 Spruce Kings are second in the BCHL Mainland Division, five points behind the (41-13-1) Chiefs.
Chilliwack has three games left, all against Prince George.

The (9-23-1) Royals are 9th, sitting 10 points out of a playoff spot.

The (26-27-7) Canucks are one point behind the (27-25-6) Minnesota Wild for the final wild-card playoff spot.

Competition continues today (starting at 11:00 a.m.) at the World Para Nordic Skiing Championships at the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club on Otway Road.
Colin Cameron (Silver in biathlon) and Mark Arendz (Bronze in biathlon) won medals for Canada on Saturday.

118 men and women athletes from 19 countries are competing in four cross-country skiing and four biathlon events.
Canada is represented by 11 athletes and three guides, including three athletes from B.C.
The participants are grouped into three classes: sitting, standing, and visually impaired.

CANADA WINTER GAMES:
Red Deer is hosting the Canada Winter Games.
Nine Prince George athletes are competing (four in speed skating, two in judo and one each in alpine skiing, snowboard and wheelchair basketball).
The 1500m men and women’s events were held on the first day of competition for long track speed skating.
Top result for the B.C. men was Kieran Hanson (Prince George) in 11th place and for the women it was Amanda Mitchell (Fort St. John) in 7th.

B.C. scored four in the 10th end for a dramatic come-from-behind 7-6 win over Nova Scotia in the opening draw of the National Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

The B.C. rink beat Manitoba today (Sunday) 7-5 to improve to 2-0.
B.C. is represented by skip Sarah Wark of Abbotsford and her team that has two players (third Kristen Pilote and lead Jen Rusnell) and a coach (Rick Fewster) from Prince George.

The Prince George Senior Lacrosse Association is gearing up for its 29th season.
The league holds its Annual General Meeting today (Sunday) from Noon to 4:00 downstairs at the Masonic Hall, 480 Vancouver Street.
The Draft of Graduating Midget Players will follow the AGM.
