Police investigating suspicious incident near Prince George elementary school

Prince George RCMP received a report regarding an incident that took place on Tuesday in the area of Heritage Elementary School.

It was reported that an adult male driving a white pickup truck had followed an elementary school student around 2:30 in the afternoon.

The student left the school to walk home and noticed the driver began to follow for several blocks.

The truck was then last seen near the intersection of Corless Crescent and Tabor Boulevard.

The driver is described as being a white male, 20-30 years in age,  having short hair with a long beard and also wearing a flat-brimmed baseball hat.

The vehicle associated with the incident is described as being a white four-door Ford truck with a black tailgate.

As the investigation continues, RCMP would like to speak to the person involved and/or any witnesses to the incident.
