Already under fire from some for a big-ticket loan, the city added $8.5 million to that price tag.
At the meeting Monday evening, Prince George City Council approved the payments for two more projects that will be tacked onto a $32 million loan, pending its approval. Â
“We have to pay our bills. It’s done and we have to pay them,” said councillor Terri Mcconnachie.
The Winnipeg Sinkhole Remediation Project will add another $1,708, 359 to the MFA debt, and the Willow Cale Haggith Creek Repair project will be ringing in at $6,800, 000.Â
