UPDATE: No injuries in vehicle fire on Hwy 97, road open but expect delays

Corporal Madonna Saunderson has confirmed there are no injuries after a vehicle fire on Highway 97, 11km south of the Pine Pass.

According to DriveBC, the road is now operating single lane traffic and drivers should expect delays.

A chip truck is on fire 11km south of the Pine Pass, according to RCMP.

DriveBC says Highway 97 is closed and there are no detours available at this moment.
