Man approaches child near Tabor and Ospika

There has been another incident involving a male in a white truck approaching a child.

According to RCMP, the incident happened near North Tabour Boulevard and Ospika Boulevard at 9:52 this morning.

Police say a male driver told the child to get in his truck. The child was able to get to safety.

This is the third incident involving a man fitting this description and vehicle.

“Based on the description of the suspect and the vehicle in all three incidents, we do believe they are all related,” said Cpl. Carmen Kiener.

“The RCMP here in Prince George is taking this very seriously. We are reaching out to the public and any assistance they can give us is appreciated.”

The male is described as:

· Caucasion Male

· Middle aged

· Short dark hair and a short dark beard with flecks of grey, approximately 1 inch in length

The vehicle is described as:

· White four door truck

· Black tonneau cover

· Tinted back windows

· Silver bumper

· The vehicle was quite dirty at the time of the incident

The Prince George RCMP is asking anyone with information to call the Police at 250-561-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS)
